In order to function, our bodies require a certain amount of fuel - just like a furnace. To keep weight at a relatively even level, we would provide only fuel that will be “burned.”
Often though, we provide our bodies with too much fuel or even worse fuel that cannot be burned properly. The result is stored fat.
Imagine trying to feed a fire with stones. The fire can’t use the stones as fuel, so they just sit there. The same thing happens when you fill your body with food that’s over processed and filled with chemicals and preservatives.

Fresh vegetables and fruits and the like will allow the body to become satisfied. The body becomes nourished and does not need to store the unusable food as fat.
Oxygen, heat and material to burn are required for anything to burn. The body requires all three of these elements to be present as well.

A lid held over a candle will remove the ability for oxygen to feed the flame. The candle will then stop burning. They body, if not provided with adequate oxygen, will be unable to burn anything as well.
